𝑷𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒛𝒛𝒊
𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 — actor!aemond targaryen × fem!reader
𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 — life with aemond is always risky...but not just because of his status in society. No, more because he likes doing risky activities...
𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 — smut, oral (f receiving), dirty talk, getting caught, public sex
𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆 — well, what more can I say besides the fact, that the new trailers awaked something in me? Team black forever, I'll just take aemond as a prisoner
A happy sigh left your mouth as you leaned your back against Aemond while his fingertips graced along your arms.
He had found a cinema with the opportunity to watch a movie while laying comfortably in your seat and god was it amazing.
And another plus point, the cinema was rather outside the city and as a result not as crowded, meaning no paparazzi or fans were around.
You and Aemond were in the last row, giving your man enough privacy to trail his hand from your arm down to your sweats. “Aemond!” You whisper-shouted trying to slap his hand away but instead he gripped your wrist with his free hand, caging you in between his arms.
“Come on love, live a little…” He chuckled, his lips lightly gazing your cheek.
You rolled your eyes at his words, Aemond lived for those risky sex moments. While you did enjoy them, you often come too close to getting caught.
“Aemond, we almost got caught last time!” You complained as his finger slipped into your panties, and that gods forsaken pussy of your betrayed you once again by getting wet just from his voice.
“Quite a tone you have there...you are really serious huh?” He asked with amusement dripping from his voice.
“You’re soaked for me, my little whore is turned on by getting caught,” Aemond drags his fingers through your folds, rubbing your clit gently. A whimper left your lips as he put pressure into his movements.
Suddenly a white light filled the cinema and it surly wasn’t the movie.
Aemond looked around, his eye scanned his right side and locked with the ones of a paparazzi. The actors face was filled with rage, he pulled his hand away from you and gently pushed you to the side.
“What the actual fuck man? How much of a perv do you have to be, taking a photo of my girl and I? You better get your ass out of here before you don't feel your face anymore, sick fuck!” He yelled at the paparazzi who scrambled out of the theatre.
“Come on, we’re leaving and tomorrow we will go to the police, and I will call my agent.” Aemond promised you softly, taking your hand to help you stand up.
Tears threatened to leave your eyes as you walked out of the cinema. A crowd of paparazzi were waiting outside, all of them making photos of Aemond and you. “Shut those fucking cameras off!” the blonde snapped at one of them who held the camera close to your face.
You could hear them ask questions, but you didn’t know what they said, too focused on getting out of there.
When you were finally inside the car you took a deep breath, though your exhaling was shaky. Aemind grabbed your hand giving it a gently squeeze before starting the engine, “we will be home any second love, I promise,” he whispered while stroking the back of your hand with his thumb.
You nodded at him to let him know that you were listening. He always wanted to here you say that you were with him in situations like this, however at the moment was all you could offer him.
The car came to a stop in front of your apartment, Aemond walked over to your side and opened the door for you helping you out of the car. “I’m gonna make you a hot chocolate, how does that sound?”
His thumb graced over your cheekbone as he smiled at you. You didn’t answer his question, instead you slowly realized what happened. “They saw us…that man took a photo of us, while you had you hand in my pants…oh god they caught us! What are we going to do?”
“Tomorrow I will go to the police, make an indication, call my agent and we will sue them yeah?”
“But what if they use it against us? I don’t believe it's allowed to do that,” your eyes were filled with fright as your mind imagined all the possibilities, on how this could be used against you.
“Maybe, but what that man did was far worse than our little adventure and even if they use it against us do you know how many people are on our side? Aegon, Rhaenyra, Daemon, Haelena and those were only a few!” He tried to reassure. You wanted to believe him so bad but a voice in your head told you the oppisite.
“And they won’t think I’m a…slut?” “Oh, god my love no! You are not a slut, it was my fault we got caught, okay? I made you do this, it's all my fault.”
His large rough, but gentle hands cupped your cheeks as the tears you tried to hold back streamed down your face. Aemond lead you to the couch and brought a tissue up to your cheeks, drying your tears.
“It's you and me against the world, yeah? We did that and it was okay, you are not a slut, and that man is a sick perv who will get at least liberty punishment and with our lawyer he will end up in prison.”
The tears slowly stopped, your vision was still blurry, but you could make out how Aemond looked at you, with so much love and care. “I love you and I’m sorry we got caught my beautiful girl,” he whispered against your lips.
“I love you too,” you replied sealing your lips in a soft, slow kiss that was filled with passion.
“I’m going to make sure that paparazzi gets what he deserves,” Aemond promised you as he carefully pulled away from your soft lips, giving you one last kiss before he stood up.
“Hot chocolate?” “With marsh-“ “Marshmallows I know,” he gave you a cute smile before vanishing in the kitchen.
He knew that by tomorrow the whole internet would be flooded with the picture, but with you by his side he knew that he could go through hell and back, with smile as if you just told him, you loved him.

“How’d you afford going to the cinema?” Harry asks.
Voldemort snorts. “I didn’t.”
“Ah, right…” In retrospect, it’s rather obvious. “You snuck into an awful lot of places, eh?”
“Of course. Didn’t you?”
“Nah,” Harry admits. “Everyone already thought I was a delinquent. I didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of being right.”
The older man looks at him searchingly. “You’re too much of a goody-goody–” Harry squawks indignantly. “–to have earned that reputation. Was it because of accidental magic outbursts?”
“Not exactly…” Harry shifts uneasily. He doesn’t really want to talk about this.
“Your Muggle family doesn’t like magic,” Voldemort says. It’s not a question.
“Not exactly.” He can’t help that his tone serves as a confirmation. He doesn’t talk about this with anyone, so he’s not able to dissemble with any skill on the spot.
“If I had to make an educated guess, those Muggles don’t like you, either.”
Even after all they’ve done and the time he’s spent apart from them – even now that he’ll never have to see them again – it’s still difficult to look at his years with the Dursleys and consider the scope, the reality, of how they treated him. And he’s not going to do it now, sitting next to Voldemort.
The older man continues, “You’ve experienced their hatred of magic firsthand, so how–”
Harry shoots an annoyed glare at the older man. He’s broken the unspoken rule. “Are we here to have an argument about our respective ideologies, or are we here to watch a film?”
Voldemort blinks. “I did not expect you to know the word ‘ideology,’ let alone use it.”
Harry remembers the long days and nights of letting Hermione ramble on at him about whatever she wanted to distract from Ron’s absence. He must've retained more than he'd expected.
“I’m just full of surprises,” he says, letting out a frustrated breath and the tension in his shoulders.
That nets him a half-smile. “Of that, darling boy, I assure you, I am well aware.”
Harry is saved from having to respond with something more than confused spluttering (which makes Voldemort chuckle quietly) by the theatre darkening and the projector turning on.

wherefore art thou romeo | yang jeongin
SCENE ONE ・❥・ break a leg (6k words)
directory
SCENE ONE ・❥・ ACT ONE
"If you don't start enunciating your words, I'm going to bite you."
You give Jeongin a nasty look, rolling your eyes at him from where he sat behind the counter. Unfortunately, before you could get the chance to offer a sharp tongued rebuttal, two customers walk up to you, hand in hand.
"Two tickets for, Last Christmas, please!" The woman in front of you says gleefully whilst her partner kisses her on the check. Oh, how naive, you thought, knowing that in the movie, the main love interest is actually dead the whole time. You'd been through the trauma of watching the movie yourself, so you could understand the pain they'd be in, in approximately an hour and forty five minutes.
"Here you go," you say, plastering a fake smile on your face as you hand over the tickets, turning back to Jeongin once they leave. The best thing about working in a cinema? Minimal customer interaction. Plus, as a film geek, you got 50% off movie tickets, which meant you and your coworkers spent as much time in the cinema chairs as you did cleaning them.
"Better yet," Jeongin continues, grinning up at you from where he sat on a stool, leaning against the back wall. "Every time you mumble, I'll throw a piece of popcorn at you."
"I'll just catch it in my mouth, dipshit," you tease, sticking your tongue out at him as you pick up your script again. As much as Jeongin was an absolute nuisance, he was helping you prepare for your audition tomorrow, so you couldn't be too annoyed with him.
"Oh yeah? You really think you've got that level of coordination?" He teases more. "Might I remind you, you're the same kid that tripped over every hurdle at sports day circa five years ago."
You huff, fully turning around to lean against the counter as you eyed the boy below you. He was grinning up at you, his perfect teeth gleaming as he pushed some of his dark hair out his eyes.
"Shut up," you huff, folding your arms over your chest. "Can you actually be constructive with your criticisms instead of just bullying me?"
Jeongin laughs at you, shaking his head and pouting. "Come on," he tilts his head at you, waving the script he was holding in front of you. "These lines aren't going to memorise themselves."
You sigh, knowing he's right. You didn't usually get nervous over auditions, since you were more than used to them by now. You'd been acting since you were a toddler, whether that be putting on shows for your family or in your local theatre group, and you had the confidence to soar through them, but this was different. Going to a prestigious school for the arts meant competition for the top roles was more than tough, and your end of year performance was the most important and well attended production each year.
Romeo and Juliet, was this years choice. Sure, it was only because your head of department had just recently got engaged and made her sappy love life everyone's business, but you actually loved the play, so you weren't mad about it. And, of course, you were trying out for the part of Juliet.
"Romeo can, Though heaven cannot," Jeongin starts, putting on a girly voice as he pretends to act as Juliet's nurse for the chosen audition scene. "O Romeo, Romeo, Whoever would have thought it? Romeo!"
You have to admit, you loved practicing with him. Jeongin, being on the same acting course as you, was amazing at performing, and put his all into it every time - even if it was just a silly practice audition.
You laugh as you begin your line, trying to remember your monologue without a script. "What devil art thou that dost torment me thus? This torture should be roared in dismal hell. Hath Romeo slain himself? Say thou but "Ay," And that bare vowel "I" shall poison more...than...than-"
"Than the death-darting eye of cockatrice. I am not I if there be such an "I," Or those eyes shut that makes thee answer "Ay." If he be slain, say "Ay," or if not, "No." Brief sounds determine my weal or woe," Jeongin finishes the part you couldn't remember for you, reading directly from the script in a whimsical voice as you sigh.
"Why did they choose the original play script," you whine, grabbing the script off Jeongin to reread the line. "Surely they could have adapted the language to make it easier to learn. I feel like I'm summoning serpents right now."
Jeongin laughs at your dismay, shrugging his shoulders as he stands up to deal with the group of customers he sees walking in and letting you have time to look over your script. "I dunno, I like the original. That bullshit Di Caprio version - you know, the movie with the guns - that sucked. It was all over the place; you can't have them speaking Elizabethan English and then make them shoot each other in the street and drive sports cars."
You give the back of his head a smile as he serves the customers, giving over their tickets and making up their popcorn. It was just the two of you on shift tonight until the cinema you worked at closed at 12, which you didn't mind at all since Jeongin could help you with you with your lines. That, and the fact that out of your friends, he was the most calm - which was saying something, because Jeongin was loud for an introvert.
"I liked the movie," you say once the customers leave, Jeongin coming over to stand beside you. "I thought it was an interesting take."
"You just fancy young Leo," Jeongin points out, making you scoff and push his shoulder. "Don't even pretend you don't! I was sat beside you in the lecture hall when we watched it for our extra curricular last semester and I watched you physically drool when he showed face."
You frown, knowing he's exactly right. The fact you were slightly infatuated with young Leonardo Di Caprio was not a secret.
"Oh, look how handsome he is," Jeongin continues to tease, pretending to be you fawning. "He looks like a dream!"
"Oh, come on," you laugh, using a phrase you'd picked up from Felix. Working with your best friends meant you'd adopted a lot of their habits, which you'd only realised when Felix had pointed it out. "I wasn't that bad."
"You didn't have to sit beside you."
You stick your tongue out at him, picking up your script again. "Are you not more nervous? Considering you're also auditioning tomorrow?"
Jeongin shrugs, manoeuvring so that he's facing you and gently tapping your feet with his. "Not really. I'm auditioning for multiple parts so I don't really mind what I get."
"Are you going for Romeo?" You ask him, glad the conversation has turned somewhat serious.
He nods, frowning. "Yeah, don't see why not. The more parts I go for the more options I have. You must be pretty dead set on playing Juliet if you're only auditioning for her."
You can't help but to feel nervous, knowing that you were taking a risk by only going for the role of Juliet. Jeongin seems to notice this, though, moving his face so that you look at him and giving you a smile.
"Hey, I'm sure you'll get it," he says, before breaking out into a cheeky grin. "If you remember your lines, that is."
You wish you could be annoyed at him, but you appreciate how he tries to keep the situation lighthearted. You'd always appreciated that of him. He was good at reading a room, and knew how to dissolve tension. It came in clutch when you and Jisung got into a tiff about god knows what whilst you worked together.
Jisung's parents owning the local cinema you worked at meant he liked to, well, not do his job, which you could get pretty annoyed at as much as you loved your friend. There was perks with working with your friends, but there were also downfalls, such as Jisung refusing to do certain tasks.
Jeongin snaps you out of your thoughts, taking the script back from you.
"You're going to do your own head in if you keep going over it," he points out. "Remember that one time when we were auditioning for that play in middle school and you memorised the script so much you started saying other people's lines out loud?"
You laugh at the memory. "That witch of a teacher shouted at me in front of everyone. It was so embarrassing."
"Mhm," Jeongin hums, tilting his head at you. "That's why you should put this down for a bit."
"The only thing worse than over-knowing your lines is not knowing them at all," you groan, stretching your limbs and rolling your eyes at a group of teen girls talking way too loudly for 10pm. Jeongin senses your discomfort and deals with them, unaware of the looks they all give him. Working with Jeongin so often, you'd come to realise he didn't know how handsome he was, evident when he let flirtatious opportunities go amiss. He'd been like that since you'd met him in middle school, though.
You'd first met when the two local middle schools in your area moved into the new, larger and more modern school that had been built to allow the two older buildings be knocked down. After the awkward tension between the two different school groups in one classroom dissolved, your friend group (consisting of you, Yunjin, Jisung and Minho) collided naturally with Jeongin's. Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin merged well with you and your friends, and thus your new, much larger group was formed.
"Enjoy the movie," Jeongin smiles, finishing up with the group of girls.
"Oh, we will," a particularly bold girl says, turning away with their giggling friends. Jeongin turns to you with a raised eyebrow.
"What was that about?" he questions sincerely, coming back to lean against the wall with you. You shake your head in response.
"You're so niave," you chuckle, knowing even if you tried to explain to him why those girls were so giggly around him, he probably wouldn't understand anyway. "Now please help me memorise these lines."
"Nope," Jeongin says lazily, running a hand throw his curly black hair. "You're done for the night."
You grown for what feels like the millionth time of the night. "We've still got two hours before our shifts end. What the hell else am I gonna do?"
"Hang out with me," Jeongin replies, turning to face you, a smile etching his eternally happy face. "We never just talk about normal stuff anymore. It's always about uni."
"Yeah, well, our lives revolve around it, now."
Jeongin seems as though he doesn't like your answer, scoffing and hitting his shoes off of yours. "I know but - come on, surely you've got some gossip for me."
"Jeongin, we have all the same friends!" You laugh, shaking your head. "If I have any gossip I'm pretty sure you'll know it, too."
"Well how about this," he says, turning fully to face you. "Did you know that Jisung and Yunjin had a thing for each other back in middle school, but neither of them acted on it?"
Your jaw almost drops. Yunjin, your best friends since infantry, had never once divulged this interesting piece of information to you. Plus, Ji and Yunjin were your friends before they were Jeongin's, and it felt wrong that he knew more about them than you.
"How the fuck do you know that?" You ask in disbelief. Jeongin only taps his nose.
"Trade secret," he says ominously, so you lightly punch him on the shoulder. He giggles, pretending to stumble backwards. "Okay okay, Jisung told me at the time and Yunjin told me when she was drunk a few months ago."
You sigh, promising yourself to bring it up to Yunjin when you go back to your dorm later. "Why does everyone tell you their secrets when they're drunk? Nobody tells me anything."
"Cause you're a blabbermouth," Jeongin says with no hesitation, so you give him a look. "What? You have been since middle school. I told you I had a crush on Yeji and you told everyone."
You huff, remembering the event. You were only, like, thirteen in all fairness, but you did feel bad about it even after all this time. Jeongin didn't speak to you for weeks after Yeji shut him down.
"I apologised for that a million times, I didn't even mean to let it slip!"
"Yeah, well," Jeongin rolls his eyes. "I'm still mad at you."
You give him a grin, knowing he's completely lying, and he can't help but crack a smile right back at you.
"See? Isn't this nice?" He says, his eyes glistening from the overhead light. "We've not talked casually like this in ages."
"Aw, are you missing our conversations, Jeong?" You laugh, reaching over to shake his shoulder. He swipes you away, always hating physical affection, laughing.
"I wouldn't go as far as to say I was missing it, but I do enjoy talking to you about non school or work related things," he says honestly, and you can't help but nod your head in agreement.
Once the movies let out around the same time, all you and Jeongin have to do is clean the two theatres, make sure everything is prepared for the day staff tomorrow and lock up. It doesn't take you too long, and Jeongin connects to the speaker system to play his music, which passes the time even quicker.
You're exhausted by the time Jeongin locks the back door, pocketing the keys and leading you to his car. He'd saved up for months to pay for it, claiming he was fed up with Jisung driving him around like a maniac.
"Fifteen minute drive home," Jeongin says out loud, pulling up the maps on his phone despite knowing the route back to the on campus dorms. "You should go for a nap, you look tired."
"Thanks, Jeong," you say with a roll of your eyes, getting yourself comfortable in the passengers seat.
"Not like that," he says lazily, looking behind him as he pulls out of his parking space. "Here, I'll even crank up the heating like you enjoy. I'm sacrificing my own comfort for you, here."
You give him a fake smile, unable to help yourself from curling up as soon as you feel the heat blast your face. Jeongin's body temperature was always much warmer than yours, so you'd always fought about the heat of the car when you were the passenger.
It's not long until you arrive back to the dorms, Jeongin having to gently push you awake after you'd drifted off. He stops off at your dorm first, of course, halting right outside the door. He roomed with Seungmin, Felix and Hyunjin five minutes away whilst you shared with Yunjin and two girls you weren't all that close with. Jisung and Minho had moved into their own flat a month ago.
"If you're not fast asleep in the next ten minutes I'm coming over and forcing you," he says, his face serious, and you know he's only half joking. "Get a good sleep for tomorrow and you'll be fine."
"Same goes for you," you say, stretching your limbs as you open the car door. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"See you tomorrow," he firms with a nod, giving you a grin after and starting the car as soon as he watches you open the main door to your dorm building.
Yunjin's already dead asleep in her room when you go in, which leads you to crash in your own bed as soon as you've finished brushing your teeth and changing out of your work uniform, the script pages of Romeo and Juliet floating around in your mind.
SCENE ONE ・❥・ ACT TWO
When the time flashes on your phone reading 9:46am, it doesn't compute in your brain that you've slept in. It's not until you hear Yunjin banging on your door, shocking you out of your system and causing you to jump up in terror, that the realisation hits you.
You've slept in. On audition day.
Despite remembering setting your alarm for 8 sharp, you were fourteen minutes away from missing the auditions and getting stuck as a background actor. You fling open your door, revealing a panicked Yunjin on the other side.
"Did you -"
"Yes, I know I've slept in!" You answer, leaving the door open and turning to get changed out of your pajamas at lightening speed.
"And you -"
"Auditions start at ten, I'm fully away," you rush out, able to practically read Yunjin's mind at this point. You'd laugh if you weren't so stressed.
"Jesus, you're giving me so much stress right now," she says, taking a deep breath in and out. "I'll make you a coffee and you'll be out the door with time to spare, okay?"
"Okay!" You shout back, pulling a hairbrush through your hair as Yunjin hurries through to the kitchen.
Thankfully, within five minutes, you look somewhat presentable. You grab your black uni bag, containing your script and other necessities, before scrambling to the kitchen and taking the coffee Yunjin has made you in your favourite travel cup.
"Good luck!" Is the last thing you hear her shout, giving her a hasty thumbs up as you flee out of your dorm building and practically run towards the theatre building, where the auditions were being held.
Luckily, the theatre building was only a five minute walk away from your dorm, so you managed to get there just in time. Everyone from your course was gathered in the hallway, and you spot Jeongin talking to some of his friends by the entrance.
You're huffing and puffing as you walk up to him, resting your hand on his shoulder as you fold over, breathing in and out heavily. He turns around, his eyes widening.
"You slept in," he says instantly, and all you can do is nod. He chuckles, moving himself to face you fully and abandoning his conversation with the guys behind him. "You're such an idiot. I was about to come and break your door down."
"Yeah, well, I've made it," you breath out, standing up right and taking your hand away.
"Thankfully," he says, tilting his head and giving you a smile. "You have two different shoes on, by the way."
You look down, and of course he's right. One black converse and one blue. Groaning, you slump against the wall behind you.
"Have you seen the audition schedule?" You ask, knowing they put out a list of who will audition in what order. There was about fifty or so people on your course, so auditions usually took most of the day, but once you were finished you could go home.
"Yeah, and you're one of the first people to audition, so you're lucky you made it in time."
"Of course I am," you say, knowing it's just your luck. "When's yours?"
"I'm a couple people after you. They say the auditions should finish around 4pm, then roles will be released around 8pm," Jeongin explains. Usually, you're not nervous about auditioning, but since you were going for the main lead, the stakes were high.
Jeongin gives you a nudge. "Don't be nervous," he says, as if able to read your mind. "You'll be great. You've practiced more than enough."
"I know, but still. I really want this part," you say honestly, and he nods knowing exactly how you feel.
"We'll try our best," he says, tilting his head with a grin, his dimples showing. "And I tell you what - no matter what parts we get, I'll get the guys together later for a drink and we can celebrate."
"Or drown our sorrows," you say, which he laughs at. Your conversation is interrupted, though, as your head lecturer comes out to bring the first person in for their audition. Everyone starts to sit down, knowing they'll be waiting around for a while.
Jeongin and you sit cross legged on the floor, going over your lines until you're called in for your audition. He gives you a grin and a thumbs up as you leave, which surprisingly seems to settle your nerves.
Taking a deep breath, you follow one of the student advisors who helped with the audition process through to the large stage room, where the auditions were being held.
Although it was your third year of university and you'd been in this room numerous times, a shiver ran down your spine at the thought of auditioning. Like a true professional, however, you walked with an aura of confidence; standing on the black 'X' taped onto the floor in front of the panel of lecturers assessing your audition.
"You may begin when you're ready," your head lecturer states with a smile, nodding her head at you. With the countless study sessions you've done of the Juliet audition script, you're able to recite your lines with ease, it all flowing back to you in the heat of the moment.
Acting is second nature to you. It had been since you were a kid, putting on performances for your family. It continued through middle school, as you signed up to every school play and scored the lead in every single one. And it shined now, as you spoke your lines out perfectly.
You finish your audition feeling as though you couldn't have tried harder, which was all you wanted. Of course, you realised you wouldn't get the lead role in everything, but there was something so captivating about playing Juliet - you just had to get this role.
Your head lecturer, Miss Choi, smiles at you warmly as you bow, a standard practice after auditioning. She doesn't say anything but nods her head as if to say, 'you may leave.' The audition process of your university was something you'd become very aware of - you knew your lecturers would not be allowed to give any indication of who got what roles until they posted the notice in a few hours.
So, you left the exam hall, feeling all eyes on you as you exited. You walk up to Jeongin instantly with a small smile on your face, not wanting to boast about how well your audition had gone in front of your peers.
"So?" He asks quietly, patting the space next to him as you crouch down against the wall and plant yourself beside him.
"It went well," you whisper, leaning in so that those around you can't hear. People are chatting, but there's a quiet and antsy aura surrounding the hallway space, so you don't take any chances.
"Of course it did," Jeongin says with no distaste to his tone, a grin lighting up his features. "I'm pleased for you!"
You knew he would be as he always is. It was one of the reasons you got along so well - being the only two of your friend group to be interested in acting in middle school caused you to instantly click, but what solidified your friendship was the fact that no matter who got what role, say Jeongin got a 'better' part than you, there was never any controversy between the two of you. You were always genuinely happy for each other.
You help Jeongin go over his lines as the next few auditions go by, listening intently as he says his audition piece. He was such a captivating performer, and you truly had no doubts in him getting the lead. You might have been biased, since he was one of your best friends, but you felt he fit the role of Romeo better than anyone else on your course.
As soon as his name is called, he stands up, throwing you a smile as he enters the hall. You wait patiently for him, scrolling aimlessly on your phone until he comes out, walking towards you and giving you a hand.
You take it, standing up and heading towards the buildings exit. "So?"
"Went good," he says lazily, holding the door open for you since you were both finished and could now do whatever until the roles were announced.
"Yeah? Remember all your lines?" You tease, walking out into the warm September air. Jeongin playfully shoved your side, watching with a laugh as you stumble, nearly missing someone walking in the opposite direction.
"Yeah, I did," he mocks back with a face. "Now, want to go to Eden or Pod?"
You weigh up the options of the two coffee places on your campus. "Eden," you answer. "It'll be quiet right now."
How mistaken you are. The place in general isn't busy, but you walk in to find Jisung and Felix slumped over a table at the back of the café. They notice you straight away, so after ordering your regular, they force you to sit with them.
"Are we looking at the new lead roles of the end of semester show?" Jisung asks instantly. "Or are we looking at the future owners of the cinema?"
"Shut up, Ji," Felix whines at him, nudging his leg from under the table for mocking you and Jeongin. He turns his attention to you. "Are we, though?"
"Calm down," Jeongin rolls his eyes as he pulls over a chair for you both to join the two boys at their table. "We won't know which roles we get until 8pm."
"Pity," Jisung huffs, moving his chair over slightly so Jeongin can sit beside him. "I was looking forward to hearing about it."
"You'll hear soon enough," you remind him, sitting in your seat beside Felix. "And even if we didn't get the leads, I'm sure we'd manage to find work out with the cinema."
Jisung scoffs, waving his hand. "Why would you want to?" He questions. "Best job on earth. Free popcorn, discounted movies - plus, you get to work with me!"
"The last of those is not a bonus," Jeongin teases, making a face when Jisung gives him his middle finger. "I was thinking, despite which roles we get we could all get together and have a drink tonight?"
"I'm up for that," Felix grins, closing his laptop as if he knows he's not going to be getting anymore work done. "Our dorm?"
"Yeah, if the other guys agree," Jeongin confirms. "I'll text them. You up for it, Jisung?"
"I'm always up to get drunk," he points out, which you all know to be true. "Plus, it's a Friday and I have no plans."
"So we're your last option?" You tease. He gives you a frown.
"Of course you are," he says as if it's obvious, no hesitance. "If I had a gorgeous girl to go and see, you guys wouldn't even be in the equation."
"Maybe you will be seeing a gorgeous girl tonight," you say all knowingly, giving Jisung a wiggle of your eyebrows.
"If you're talking about yourself, you're highly mistaken, and that's gross," he says, grimacing. You only roll your eyes and give Jeongin a smirk which he responds to with a laugh, knowing exactly who you were talking about.
"Why are you guys even here?" Jeongin asks, changing the subject. Felix huffs dramatically, turning his laptop around to show Joengin his work, displaying a word document that he'd written all but ten words on.
"Am I supposed to be looking at something substantial?" Jeongin questions cheekily, raising an eyebrow at Felix with a blank expression.
"It would be substantial if I understood the fucking assignment," Felix groans, turning his laptop back around. "You don't understand how much this course sucks now that I'm on my own."
You ruffle his hair gently, giving him a pouty face. Poor Felix was on the dance course at your school for the arts, which he used to enjoy greatly when Hyunjin was also on the same course.
Unfortunately for him, Hyunjin had switched to an art and design course halfway through last semester, claiming that art was his passion and dance was more of a hobby. Despite his warm aura and bubbly personality, Felix was as quiet as mouse around people he didn't know, thus making it impossible for the boy to make friends on his course. Thus, he's been struggling alone since Hyunjin's departure.
"You guys are so lucky you can do all your schoolwork together," Felix says to you and Jeongin, jealousy making him pout. All you do is shrug and give Jeongin a smile.
"He's not wrong," Jisung adds. "I wish I had someone to help with all my schoolwork."
Jeongin screws his eyebrows up, turning to face Jisung. "You have both Seungmin and Yunjin on your course," he points out, which makes Jisung roll his eyes.
"Seungmin is too goody two shows to ever give me the answers to stuff, and Yunjin is an idiot," he replies nonchalantly. Yunjin, Seungmin and Jisung were on the classical music course at your uni. It was kind of inevitable most of your middle school friend group would end up at a university for the arts, considering you'd grown up with a love for it. The only person from your friend group who didn't attend your university was Minho, who ended up going to a culinary school ten minutes away instead.
"Speaking of, aren't you supposed to be in lectures right now?" you point out, thinking about how you knew Yunjin's schedule and she was definitely in class right now.
"Don't care. Didn't ask," is Jisung's response. You roll your eyes, looking toward Felix. He shrugs.
"We do, but we ditched to write this assignment," Felix responds. Jeongin laughs, shaking his head.
"Good thing you've done a lot," he says sarcastically, which Felix gives him the evils for. Jeongin's phone pings then, which he attends to, pulling out his phone and checking the notifications. "Oh my god!"
"What?" You ask, watching him scan over the contents of the message.
"The auditions are finished," he says, eyes not leaving the screen. You don't have time to stress, since Jisung gives you all a grin.
"Excellent!" He claps his hands. "We will all be drunk when you get the results, so no matter what you get we'll have a good night, right?"
"Right," Jeongin confirms with a smile, flashing you his set of pearly whites. "On that note, we should all probably head and get ready."
"Sounds good to me," Felix sighs, closing his laptop down, ridding himself of the assignment he'd written nothing of. "I can't wait for a drink."
"Ditto," you chuckle, ruffling the boys hair. "We'll see you guys later then?"
"Yes you will," Jisung winks, which you gag at. With a nod toward Jeongin, the two of you leave the coffee shop, walking towards the dorms. The two of you say your farewells when you reach your dorm, making the plan to go to Jeongin's dorm for drinks in two hours.
SCENE ONE ・❥・ ACT THREE
"Look what the cat dragged in!" Minho grins when you and Yunjin walk into the boys dorm. Him and Jisung had arrived before you, clearly, and the boys had already started drinking. You give him a quick hug, letting him ruffle your hair. He gives Yunjin a side hug too, whilst Felix walks up to you both with drinks in his hands.
“Audition went well?” Minho asks as Felix places the cups in yous and Yunjin’s hands, which you gladly accept.
“She only made it by the skin of her teeth,” Yunjin giggles, which you roll your eyes at fondly, laughing when she sticks her tongue out at you.
“I think so,” you respond honestly, smiling when he gives you a thumbs up in response.
“Good, come join us. Hyunjin has Jisung in a headlock,” Minho chuckles, ushering you towards the living area of the dorm.
“Classic,” Yunjin laughs at the scene, in which Hyunjin truly does have Ji in a headlock. “Another bet?”
“Of course,” is Felix’s response. You wave towards Seungmin and Jeongin, the two boys waving back with beers in their hands. “Jisung is refusing to pay up.”
“What was it this time?” You laugh. The two boys were terrible for betting each other about anything and everything, which often ended up in debt and arguments.
“Something about Jisung being unable to ask some girl on a date,” Jeongin answers as he walks towards your group, Seungmin making an attempt to split the two boys up. Yunjin audibly scoffs at that, which you send Jeongin a look for. He shrugs his shoulders with an expression you read as, ‘I told you so.’
“Excuse me,” Jisung intervenes, shooting Hyunjin daggers. “I would have asked her out, but she literally wasn’t in class yesterday! Why would I give him money?”
“Because there was no sub rules stipulating her presence in the university building, all you had to do was ask her out by this morning - you could have sent her a lousy text for all I care,” Hyunjin shoots back nonchalantly, giving the two of you girls a nod hello.
“Wah wah, shut the fuck up the both of you,” Minho yawns, checking his phone. “There’s half an hour until your roles get released, so I say we play a drinking game until then?”
“Sounds good to me, Seungmin grins, opening up a cupboard and pulling out a deck of cards. “These two are giving me a headache.”
Your drinking game flies by. You’d all created it years ago, the easiest game if all you had was a deck of cards. Everyone was dealt three cards, and the person with the highest score got to direct a question to whoever had the lowest score. You could either answer, or take the number of shots as your lowest card.
The last round, for example, concluded with Hyunjin pulling three kings (which Jisung deemed as cheating, since he dealt), and Yunjin ending up with two twos and a three. Instead of answering the incredibly invasive question Hyunjin had directed her, she’d taken two shots.
It was at that point you noticed it was past 8pm, and a notification pinged on both yours and Jeongin’s phone. You send him a nervous glance as you open it, the beady eyes of your friends watching you both cautiously.
“What did you get?” Seungmin asks, impatient as ever. You can’t hold back the grin the spreads on your face as you read ‘Juliet’ beside your name on the cast list.
“You got Juliet?” Jisung grins back, able to read your face a mile off. You nod, whilst your friends erupt in cheers so loud you can’t even think.
“I got Romeo,” Jeongin says then, increasing the noise tenfold as your friends hug you both, congratulating you on getting the leads. Jeongin hugs you tightly, dimples flashing as he tells you how proud he is. When it’s Yunjin’s turn to squeeze you, she pulls back with a weird look on her face.
“What?” You ask her, tilting your head as the boys start pouring celebratory shots, chatting amongst themselves.
“You’re Juliet and Jeongin’s Romeo,” she says, and you think she’s just stating the obvious. “You get what that means, right?”
You scrunch your nose up, not following where she was going with this.
“You’re playing love interests! You’re gonna have to kiss and, like, die for each other and stuff,” she says, flipping a strand of hair behind her ear.
And oh Christ, because no you didn’t think about that, and she can clearly tell as you watch Jeongin down a shot in horror. You’d have to kiss one of your best friends. You’d have to act as though you were in love with the boy you’d grown up with.
Yunjin only laughs, shaking her head.
“Oh girl,” she grins. “Break a leg.”
so after almost a year (I’m so sorry tf) the first part is here!! Lmk if you like it, I’m super excited about this (mainly because I’m biased I heart jeongin) but the concept is so cute too hehe

nagi seishiro
“we’re not gonna be friends.”
nagi seishiro x gn!reader, college au, friends to lovers, no warnings i think
nagi was perceived as the brooding type, but he wasnt, he simply didn’t care about anything. he never cared for anything, he never had the energy to care for or about anything. he just lived in the world of his videogames and bluelock.
all this came to a change when he went to college (because he had to and was encouraged by ego) and he found you. you were a lot like him, lifeless, not energetic but unlike the football star you were invisible and certainly not a genius.
your friendship with him also started rather uneventfully, you both would sit at the corner, your heart racing even tho your face always looked ahead at the board, and one day while leaving the professor gave a surprise essay and you both groaned at the same time. from there nagi would usually say hi and talk to you before, during and after class. he’d take your phone and take selfies often, which were usually just lazy smiles at the camera so that you wouldnt ‘miss him.’ he said that he’d be offended if you deleted them and to that you said you didnt care.
however in a matter of few months, you realised you started to like him a little too much, non platonic. you had a terrible experience with liking a friend before so you decided you needed to distract yourself. you engrossed yourself in work, avoided his texts and said you were busy working but you couldnt avoid him when he started showing up to class more because you two didnt have time together or when he followed you around till your dorm room to drop you off.
you decided the next best thing to confessing was finding a rebound. and you did, very easily actually because just when you were about to run away from the cafeteria to avoid nagi you bump into one of your classmates. he makes idle small talk with you and then after a few minutes of talking asks you to come see his theatre show. you say yes.
when you told nagi that you wouldn’t be able to attend his football practice because you alr promised your classmate he was hurt. he’d never felt this dejected. he asked you where he could find you after the game you hesitated in telling him. he gave you an ever so faint expression of shock when you told him you were going to meet the guy at the theatre. he said good luck and went away.
you did feel horrible for letting him off like that but you needed to protect yourself. you try to lose yourself in the play, which was rather boring but the acting of your date was somewhat better. once over, you go to meet him backstage and wait for him to change his clothes. you both walk outside and pretend to laugh at something he said. you both stop before your car and the guy slowly leans in to kiss you, giving you a chance to escape, you almost did but his friends came out and startled you two. he rubs his neck as he apologises, the crew had to go party in celebration. you give him a sweet smile and say goodbye.
you hear a familiar voice call out your name. it was nagi. his hair is wet and his eyes seem tired from playing. reo is with him too, he greets you hello. “nagi scored seven goals today, he said it was someone’s favourite number.” yours. but reo doesnt notice the glances between you and nagi because he’s too busy beaming with pride. reo’s phone rings and he says he had to leave. nagi asks if you could drop him home and it would be taking things too far if you said no.
in the car nagi says to you, “i never liked the theatres and cinemas,” you nod but dont say anything, you knew it was a snarky comment about your date. he breaks the silence again saying, “do you not have better options?” you are a little taken aback when you say “what do you mean?” he fidgets with his hoodie’s strings and says “to kiss.” its a good thing that the red light masks you pressing brakes suddenly. you chuckle and say “i really dont.”
he looks at you with his usual confusion, “what about me then?” you keep your gaze at the red light timer. “we’re friends.” he sighs as he looks ahead too now, “i dont wanna be just friends.”
the honking from behind gets you out of your hypnosis. nagi just practically confessed to you, you think as you drive. he calls your name out again, “can you say something?” you stop at the next turn. “ive been avoiding you like the plague because i like you, nagi.” he looks at you, puzzled. “seems like a good strategy.” you laugh and say, “no its just that ive ruined a good friendship before because i liked them and i dont want that to happen between us.” he put his hand over yours, “dont worry about the future thats not even here yet. tell me if you like me now.” you take a deep inhale and say yes. “okay good.” he leans in a little more and his hands turn your head so you can look at him, “can i kiss you?” you say nothing, rather you grab the collar of his hoodie as you kiss him.
your world seemed to crash and rebuild itself around you two the moment you two embrace each other. he looks at you smiles. you both sit in the car a little more when he says he needs to leave. you almost protests but he says, “just look at my selfies if you miss me.” you raise an eyebrow and say, “what if i deleted them?” he says as he walks away, “you would never.”

Hi! I absolutely adore your works! Can I ask for one where you give benkei head at a place like a cinema or something 👉🏼👈🏼
Yes, yes, you can. Shit I got carried away describing all of this... MAY THE QUEEN OF KEIZO ARASHI SMUT RETURN TO HER THRONE
Nosebleed Seats: Keizo Arashi x Fem!Reader
wc: 1,5k
tw: nsfw with *plot*
masterlist
It had all started as a joke. But when you get into the empty theater, holding onto your boyfriend's hand for dear life, your anxiety spikes.
"Maybe we shouldn't..."
Keizo stops on the stairs to the back of the theater and eyes you curiously. His blue eyes sparkle with mischief, even though you're not sure of yourself anymore.
"You chickening out on me, princess?"
You clench your thighs at the sound of his husky voice. Sure, you might be chickening out, but what if someone did show up to the nine a.m. showing of "Scarface"?
"No one in their right mind would wake up that early and want to see this movie," Keizo had laughed, taking his phone from your hand and hitting the "purchase tickets" button.
"What if someone sees?" you hiss, hurrying past the empty rows as if people were there and listening. "Movie theatre employees walk around the place all the time."
"So you think some kid is going to bother to walk up all of these stairs just to make sure--"
"You never know!" Keizo laughs, moving toward the middle of the row.
"I'm sure we'll be fine. And if you really don't want to do this, we don't have to. Scarface is a decent film, in my opinion." You hesitate once more, watching your boyfriend settle into a seat comfortably and take a sip of his (your) drink. Keizo waves you over, titling his head at you as you stand on the end of the row.
"You want to leave?"
"No, I just..." You pause again. Keizo stands, holding the drink carefully. When he stands in front of you, you look away sheepishly, noting the fabric on the chairs in front of you were fraying and that the air had a familiar aroma of stale popcorn.
"If it's not an enthusiastic 'yes'," Keizo whisper, catching your chin between his forefinger and thumb.
"Then it's a 'no,'" you finish, exhaling gently.
"Let's go home, yeah?" When he says those words, a burst of courage floods through you.
"No." You statement catches your boyfriend off-guard. His eyes blink a few times before he echoes,
"No?"
"No. Let's stay." He stands there for a moment more, trying not to question your motives. But it comes out anyways.
"I'm not trying to convince you--"
"Middle seats," you urge him, pointing. "Right there is good." The unsure way with which Keizo eyes eyou does nothing to your resolve. You stand there, flat-footed, finger still pointing at the seats. "Go."
"Baby--"
"You want your dick sucked?" you say, albeit a little too loudly.
"Yes," Keizo hisses, grabbing your hand. "Fine, fine." You don't miss the smile that comes to his face as he turns around as if he were suddenly a kid in a candy shop. You both sit in the middle, directly below the projector that the trailers are playing on.
"Not until the movie starts," you murmur and Keizo nods, taking the Skittles you offered him from your hand and tossing them all back.
"Ew," you comment, but he shrugs, smirking.
"I don't separate my colors like you, baby," is all he adds to his chewing sounds.
It feels like forever until the lights go down and the movie screen flicks on, the old film giving you a sense of nostalgia. It's even longer - at least, it seems that way - until you feel brave enough to sneak your hand down your boyfriend's waistband. Keizo shifts a bit lower in his seat and exhales slowly, each breath straining from his throat as you palm his half-erect cock.
When you pull his length out of his sweatpants, the tip is already leaking pre-cum and shining in the flicker of the scenes on the screen. You lick your lips in preparation to taste it, to let the saltiness of it bloom on your tongue and awaken the lust already rousing from its long sleep.
But you choose to draw out your desires, stroking him and listening to his labored breathing. "You're doing me dirty..." he breathes, just as a character on-screen says,
"Well, you don't know shit 'bout chicks, Chico. When they see this, they know. They go crazy. They don't resist me."
Finally, you lean in and ghost your mouth over Keizo's cock. He almost jolts out of his seat, his hands keeping a firm grip on the armrests. "C'mon, baby," he pleads, but you only dart your tongue out to lick at the ample pre-cum waiting for you. "Not playing fair."
"No such thing," you whisper softly, each breath tickling his skin. It seems Keizo wants to leap up and take you, but he keeps himself under control just long enough for you to suck on his tip once, then let it pop free from your mouth.
You do it repeatedly, and by the time you're good and ready to cup his balls and go to town, Keizo is panting and sweating. He tries to focus on the movie to keep his mind from going insane, but you take him into your mouth slowly - inch by inch - letting your tongue relish in every ridge on the way down.
A hand knots in your hair, not pressing down but holding you there as a sign of pleasure. "Yes," Keizo hums, his body relaxing as you go down his shaft. "Just like that." You can barely make out what's happening on the screen while you suck Keizo's cock, saliva dripping past your lips and smearing all over his thick, veiny shaft. The taste of precum is like manna from heaven, but you choose to keep that pleasure to yourself - Keizo would have plenty of time to hear about how much you enjoyed this later.
"I'm close," he wheezes, and for once, you don't want to hear that. Not when this movie lasted almost three hours, and you're barely an hour in.
You opt to slow down, which seems to frustrate your partner more than excite him. His fingers tense in your hair, but that doesn't urge you to go any faster than you already are.
"Y/n," Keizo whimpers. "Please, baby. Let me finish down that throat."
"Not yet," you reply. You fist his cock and suck on his balls liberally. "I want this to last." The look in Keizo's eyes could kill a thousand men. But it doesn't work for you. "You've got me in here watching a three-hour movie. Might as well savor it, right?"
Keizo doesn't agree, but he groans, leaning even further in his seat. You resume your pattern of sucking him inch by inch, then going a little faster throughout the next twenty minutes. Over and over, Keizo's hands and feet betray his impending orgasm, and each time, you find the willpower to stop.
"...Every dog has his day."
The cock in your hands twitches violently, threatening to erupt with each stroke, each breath, each kiss. But you torture him anyway, smiling even though he can't see you in the darkness.
Finally, Keizo's arms are shaking from restraining himself for so long. His right leg is jumping, and there's very little stopping him from cumming except maybe focusing on the movie. But his thoughts are a blur. All he can think about is cumming. If someone walked in, he'd cum in your mouth anyway, keeping his gaze on the intruder as he did so. But no one comes to rescue him from the torment.
"Ready?" Your voice lifts above the din of the movie, the ra-ta-tat of the guns, the snorting noises, and so many other nuisances. Keizo nods quickly, blood rushing straight to his cock in an attempt to prepare for... whatever.
You don't even speak as you gag on his cock liberally, the sounds of the movie overshadowing your blessed dedication to his pleasure. "Oh shit," Keizo gasps, feeling his toes curl. You place a hand on his stomach, and suddenly, it's over for him.
Hot white flashes burst in front of his eyes, and you feel every single throb and twitch of his cock dumping a massive load of cum into your mouth. You swallow and swallow, but it doesn't seem like there's any end in sight until Keizo chokes out a pained grunt, squeezing his eyes shut and angling his hips a little higher.
Once he begins to go soft, you lick at him a few times, making sure you've cleaned up every single drop. Keizo's hand cups your chin and brings you up for a long, wet kiss to seal the events of the morning.
He tenderly tucks himself back into his pants and sighs, his eyes fluttering.
"Fucking hell," he breathes as you wipe your mouth. "This needs to be a monthly thing."
"Next time it's your turn," is all you say, standing up before the movie's even over.
"Where are you going?" Keizo wonders, standing up despite his confusion.
"I've already seen this movie," you admit brazenly. "Not really a second-time watch for me, though." Keizo's unsure of how to reply, but he follows you anyway, taking your hand in the dark movie theater and guiding you down the stairs, like any gentleman should.

Touch Starved ✨Pietro✨ Part 2
@whatthefsposts asked for a part 2- so here it is! (Apologies for how late it is- life is cruel and gets in the way of writing unfortunately 🤷🏻♀️)
Anyways! I hope you enjoy!
*Your POV*
I can’t believe you’ve managed to drag me out to watch this film again” You groan, dragging your feet as you follow the ticket line with Pietro. The silver speedster laughed, poking you lightly in the arm as he did.
“Don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it last time! Anyway, you wanted to get out of the tower” Pietro replied. You shook your head, laughing to yourself as you made it to the front of the line. You’d never admit it, but you’d make up any excuse to spend time with Pietro. Since your cowardly confession a few weeks ago, you’d been playing Wanda’s words in your head on loop.
“You know you’ll have to tell him when he’s awake next time, right?”
And she was right, Wanda usually was. But since then, the words had gotten stuck in your throat whenever you’d tried to broach the subject. So you opted to spend as much time as you could with the speedster, hoping for the moments the words could slip freely from your lips again.
“Excuse me, you’re Quick Silver, right?” A voice said from behind them, making both you and Pietro turn. Behind them stood two ladies roughly your age, with matching pretty brown eyes and blond hair that clearly showed they were sisters.
“That’s me” Pietro replied, giving the pair a lopsided smile. Something in your gut twisted.
“I’ll go get us some popcorn” You mutter as you stalk away, leaving Pietro to his fans as a heavy weight began to form in your stomach.
*Pietro’s POV*
“Have you ever tried to measure your speed? Or has Mr Stark? Oh or Dr Banner?” One of the girls in front of Pietro asked- Laura? Or was that her sisters name? He honestly wasn’t sure. As much as he wanted to answer the questions presented to him, he was to busy trying to spot Y/N in the popcorn line.
Where was she?
“Uh, not really, I tend to melt the electrics of anything they strap to me. I’m really sorry ladies but I’m kind of meant to be on a date-” Pietro said, cutting himself off. A date? Did he think this was a date?
Of course it is, the question is does Y/N think it’s a date?
“Oh we’re so sorry! Thank you for speaking with us!” The girls said, smiling brightly as they walked away. No longer occupied, Pietro went on his way to find Y/N.
********
“There you are!” Pietro said with a sigh, dropping into his cinema seat beside Y/N. When he couldn’t find her in the popcorn, he’d made his way around the cinema and surrounding arcade looking for her, only to find her, popcorn in hand sat in their ticketed seats in the theatre.
“Sorry, I had so much to carry I decided to come sit down and then find you after” Y/N said, her face turned towards the big screen in front of them. Pietro frowned.
“You could of shouted me.” Pietro said, reaching for his soda as he tried to shake the feeling that something was bothering Y/N.
“I didn’t want to interrupt your conversation” Y/N said simply before turning fully to the cinema screen.
*********
There was definitely something wrong with Y/N. Not only had they spent the majority of the film completely silent, but they’d kept up the quite all the way back to the tower too.
“Did something happen while I was gone?” Pietro asked as the pair entered the lift. Y/N shook her head.
“No, why do you ask?” Y/N replied, addressing her question to the lift doors rather than Pietro, causing his gut to twist horribly. She’d not looked at him properly since they’d left the cinema.
“You always talk through movies, we always talk through movies. That why we have to go together or we annoy everyone else.” Pietro said, watching Y/N’s profile as he spoke.
“I think the soda made my stomach hurt. Nothing to worry about” Y/N said as her lips tipped slightly. Lie her lips only tipped like that when she was lying.
The ding of the lift arriving at the top broke Pietro out of his shock. Y/N was actively lying to him. Why?
“Did they ask for your number?” Y/N said suddenly, her back to you as you both wondered through the hall that led to the main living space of the tower.
“Who?” Pietro said, racking his brain for who she could mean. That’s when she finally faced him, her eyes distant as she searched his face.
“The girls at the cinema” Y/N clarified with a shrug, her movements seeming almost mechanical. Something clicked in Pietro’s head.
“Y/N, your not jealous are you?” Pietro asked with confusion. Y/N’s skin paled.
‘I…” Y/N began.
“It’s totally okay if people don’t recognise you yet! You’ll get fans sooner or later” Pietro said with smile, only to feel it drop from his face when he noticed Y/N’s expression. She’d gone from pale to pink, her hands shaking in the fists she’d created at her sides.
“Oh sure! That’s why I’m angry, because I wasn’t recognised!” Y/N seethed, her words reverberating around the empty halls of the tower. Pietro took an involuntary step back.
“Whoa Y/N calm down-”
“Do not tell me to calm down! Damn it Pietro I thought you knew me well enough to know I don’t give two shits about fame!” Y/N said, her voice lower but still full of anger. Pietro was frozen in complete confusion. Before he could get his brain going again, Y/N turned tail and ran.
Pietro stood dumbfounded for a moment, watching Y/N as she ran down the hall to her rooms. For a moment, he let his speed catch up to him, allowing him to see just how slowly her run became if he let his power take over. When he allowed himself to think and feel his power, everything slowed; even the seconds on the clock seemed to stretch for years.
Without a thought, Pietro was in front of Y/N again, catching her body as she slammed into his chest.
“Damn you, your supposed to let me run” Y/N said through gritted teeth, her face shining with tears in the dim hall light. Pietro felt the colour leave his face.
“Why are you crying?” Pietro whispered, stroking the back of his hand lightly against Y/N’s face, wiping away the tears that still spilled from her eyes
“If you can’t put all the pieces together now, I don’t think your ready to know” Y/N said simply, her gaze distant as she stared at him. Pietro frowned, what could she-
Oh
He wasn’t sure if it was the events of tonight that had hit the mark or if his mind was finally working slower than light speed but it clicked.
Are you sure?
The doubt in his mind said, clawing at him to reconsider his conclusion.
“Only one way to find out” Pietro murmured before kissing Y/N.
*Your POV*
You’d assumed that your first kiss with Pietro would be quick, just like he was. Fast and unpredictable and full of force. But you were wrong. Your first kiss with Pietro just felt right.
His lips were soft against yours, every movement you or he made seemed to be in perfect sync. Without realising it, you’d moved your hands to snake their way into his hair, the strands soft between your fingers.
You felt as Pietro pressed you closer to the wall, the contact from his body sending chills through you as you gasped for air between kisses.
When you finally broke apart, you couldn’t feel your legs, your entire body seeming to be supported by Pietro’s body against yours. As you stared into each others eyes you knew that it wasn’t time for words. You simply rested your forehead against Pietro’s and breathed him in; knowing that when the time for words came, you two would be able to define who you were to each other.
But right now?
Right now was reserved for people who just knew that whatever this was; it was right.

Summary : You go to the cinema with Tom , afterwards you get another surprise by meeting the Bennett Family
“ I know how well you love complete power, Fouquet, but you will never know complete power until you are obeyed in a place like this”
As the film played on you You crunched on a piece of popcorn as you were engrossed in the story. The cinema was incredibly cozy and small. Your elbow rested on the arm chair , Tom held the small paper popcorn square, occasionally leaning it in your direction offering you some. Sometimes he would offer you some and retract it , laughing shortly as you missed the box trying to grab popcorn.
Out of the corner of your eye you occasionally caught Tom glancing at you, and he probably noticed you looking at him, giving him a smile every time he offered some popcorn.
Tom picked the film the Man in the Iron Mask , you were intrigued by his choice, you expected something else but you liked the film all the same. It was not a crowded cinema, maybe a dozen people in.
Being sat that close to him for just under 2 hours was sweetly reassuring, he enjoyed the film like you did. He made sure that he got the tickets, when you arrived at the theatre he was standing again the wall and when he saw you approach he smiled. You wore your dark green dress, with sleeves that barley touched your elbows and the skirt just to say covered your knees. In the cinema you had the black cardigan over your during the film but being in such close proximity to Tom made you feel even more warm blooded As the film finished Tom stood up and offered to hold your cardigan open as you put it back on . He held his blue jacket over his shoulder and you both walked side by side as you left the theatre.
“Well then what did you think of that?” You asked as you left the main entrance.
He shrugged “Yeah it was alright like.” He scrunched up the empty paper popcorn and dropped it in the bin.
“Next time you pick eh?” He said
“Next time?” You raised an eyebrow smiling at him
He smirked back “Could be fun .”
You nodded Okay…Next time I’ll pick.”
He smiled at the prospect of another cinema experience, his smile made your knees weak…how could one man have such charm?
The film finished by midday and you walked in the direction of the familiar streets you had grown to known in the past month.
Tom lit up a cigarette as you both walked down the streets , you watched him again and this time he caught you by surprise, he took it out of his mouth and offered it to you “Wanna try?”
You couldn’t respond fast enough as you stuttered “I’ve never tried one…”
He wordlessly put it closer to you and without hesitation you took it , putting it on your mouth and slowly taking a drag. You coughed slightly as you poorly attempted to blow smoke, Tom laughed and stopped you as you walked.
He took the cigeratte from your hand and held it in between his two fingers and slowly , agonizingly slowly he flew it to your lips where you opened them slightly. As he placed the cigarette in your mouth your lips closed, grazing his skin slightly as he held onto it “take a drag…slowly.” He said
It was almost like a command and you obeyed without taking your eyes off his. As you inhaled slowly you felt the hotness of the cigarette fill your lungs and then Tom whispered “Blow.”
You did just that, and a large fluffy puff of smoke escaped your mouth as Tom took away the cigarette and rested it between his lips. Effortlessly
Smoking and smiling at you “see that Wasn’t too bad was it love?”
He asked
You nodded “Rather enjoyable.” As you walked on your fingers briefly Ghosted your lips, you heart was spinning and fluttering. Tom finished his cigarette in what seemed like seconds before he graciously flicked it onto the street , smirking looking at you “Ee what would posh boy say?”
“That your a bad influence Tom.” You grinned a little
Tom laughed “Ah our little secret eh?”
You nodded “Sure..” you both turned the corner
“So what else can we you to try…” Tom mused
You almost chocked on your laugh “God Tom you make me sound like a relic.”
“Speaking of relics” he nodded in the direction of a man in a flat cap getting off his bike “wanna meet me old man?”
You smiled “of course…”
As you both approached him you almost froze in your tracks , it was the man who gave you the pamphlet outside the library .
He recognized you too as you got closer
“Alright dad .”
His dad nodded “Tom…and the Oxford girl.”
Tom frowned “eh?”
You smiled as you shook his hand “your dad and I have met…he gave me one of those pamphlets …you know the night I met you.” You said
Tom laughed “Of course he did…the one that dickhead went after you for?”
“Tom!” The man said “wait what happened with the pamphlet ?”
“Oh I was reading it…and a bloody good read it was. Some drunk tried to ..harass me and your son…” you looked at Tom and patted his chest delicately “was good enough to rescue me.”
The man removed his cap and had a glimmer of pride stretch on his face . He offered his hand “Douglas Bennett.”
You shook it “Y/N. Nice to meet you properly.”
“Wait…you don’t have an uncle Norman…Norman Turner…. do you love?”
You nodded “He is the relative I am staying with.”
“He’s my mate, we go for pints sometimes! He mentioned his niece from down south was staying with him….Small world!” Douglas said laughing.
You were astonished at the coincidence , Tom was too. But that just made Douglas even more interested in getting to know who you were.
You were invited in for tea with Tom and his dad, you met Lois that afternoon too as she came in and insisted you stay for dinner. Lois took to you almost immediately. Welcoming you with a warm hug, like an old friend reunited.
The way they were together took you back, teasing each other but in a loving close way, something you never experienced with your parents - always so serious and so quiet. Yet at the Bennett house it was never silent, they always talked …it was refreshing . Lois and you talked about hair styles and dresses, as she complimented your colours, you in turn remarked how you adored her shoes. You told them of your home and where you worked , how it was just you and your parents. when you told her how Tom had rescued you from the drunken imbecile she smiled warmly At her brother , and in the first time for what seemed like an age, she saw Tom settled and happy.
🍂
“She seems really nice Tom…” Lois said as she sat on her bed removing her slippers and getting under the cover.
Tom was laid on his chest facing the bottom
, still in his clothes and finishing another cigarette.
Looking lost in thought “hmm?”
Lois chuckled “wey Tom I think you really do like her.”
Tom blushed a fraction but looked away “Nah I mean…she’s nice but…she don’t live her Lois..:and she’s got some bloke waiting for her at home.”
Lois frowned “didn’t you say he hasn’t written to her? And they haven’t spent a lot of time together?”
Tom shrugged As he took another drag from the cigarette, he couldn’t quite say how he felt about Y/N. But he knew he had never felt it before.
“She goes back in a couple of weeks ..I ain’t able to just swan off down to Oxford for someone who…”
“Who what Tom?” Lois asked
He blew the smoke from his thin lips and sighed “Someone like her..:doesn’t go for someone like me. A thug.”
Lois smiled “Oh Tom you have no idea have you?!” She almost giggled, Tom frowned as he looked at her , outright confused .
“I saw the way you were looking at her Tom…”
He rolled his eyes “Why is it how Henry looks at you? Another posh lad punching above his weight”
“Harry.” Lois corrected him
He tutted “Harry …sorry.”
Lois blushed a little “Come on Tom stop putting yourself down …”
He shrugged again and focused on taking a long drag , blowing a cloud of smoke before tapping it against his makeshift ash tray.
Lois leaned forward and cleared her throat.
“Tom if she was as serious about this posh lad you mentioned…she wouldn’t have agreed to keep seeing you…fight for her. Give her reason to stay.”
Tom frowned “thought you’d want her to stay with that posh twit…true love an all that.”
She smiled “I want my brother to be happy.”
Tom chuckled “Very funny Lois.”
“Tom?” Lois said seriously
He looked at her as he blew smoke from his lips
“She likes you …I can tell.”
💫
A few streets away, you lay flat on your bed, wide awake looking at the stars out of your window. Your uncle was asleep when you got home , so you couldn’t tell him about meeting Douglas- but you would first thing in the morning.
The sky was so clear to see a blanket of stars which sparkled so bright in the darkness of the midnight sky.
How you felt at ease with Douglas and Lois, normally you fret over meeting new people , but they welcomed you like they had been familiar with you for years. A truly wholesome day, one that you would gladly repeat again.
You were almost annoyed that for the whole day you had not once thought of a George …even though he came up in conversation once. You found yourself wanting a cigarette, the smell lingered within the fabric of your dress and in an instant you knew it was not the cigarette you were craving…it was Tom.

Dating Jed Hunter Headcanons
Got this from a screenshot of an edit, credits to @mltvd on Instagram
I told y'all I'd do this! And I am a woman of my word! This is mainly for giggles, so I might not make another one (unless... /hj), but I was surprised by how well my Jed appreciation post did so I decided to make this for all the Jed Hunter fans and appreciators out there
This man puts the gentlemen in League Of Gentlemen. He'll always offer to pay, but won't push if you want to because he respects your right to choose. He'll offer to walk/drive you home and makes sure you get in safely. And he'll always compliment you whenever he gets the chance
He's the King of really bad dad jokes that he knows are awful
He also LOVES telling you dumb pick-up lines to make you both laugh. He'll come up behind you while you're doing something, wrap his arms around your waist, kiss your cheek, then say some corny line as he tries to hold his giggles in. Or he'll text you one without context occasionally
Whenever he struggles with casting, he'll show you audition footage and asks for your opinions - no matter how much acting experience you have, he truly appreciates your feedback
Cinema and drive-in theatre dates are an absolute guarentee. He likes discussing the film afterwards and hearing what you thought of it, even if your opinions differ. In fact, that makes it fun!
He's also down to watch something at home with snacks, he isn't fussed either way - time spent with you is time well spent
He could listen to you talk for ages. No matter what the subject is, even if he has no clue what you're on about, he loves seeing you get excited when you talk about things you're passionate about. He just thinks you're 👌🏻 kewl 👌🏻
This guy gives the best hugs. Seriously, they're warm and strong without crushing your bones. And he'll always give you one when you need it
Sometimes he worries that his worklife means he ends up neglecting you since being in the entertainment industry is very time-consuming ("so is eating a clock" would be his response) and it's too important to him to give it up. He sometimes fears that you might think he loves his job more than you, which is not true, so he'll try and make it up to you by getting you involved in projects he does. Backstage jobs, small roles in the background, he'll always offer if there's a space for you - but of course, he'll never push the point. His logic is, rather than having to choose between the two things he loves, why not blend them together?
But make no mistake, he's always up for getting stuck in with your hobbies too! No matter what it is, he's always up to try something new. Even if it's super niche, Jed is open for it
Although he always prioritises treating everyone equally... he's not opposed to giving you discounts to any shows/films he puts on - and they just happen to be the best seats in the house
Dating Jed is like dating your best friend: fun and completely relaxed

sick boy headcanons part ii
masterlist
send requests for my 1.3k sleepover!
my other sick boy hcs :)
- simon, simon, simon… where should i begin!
- he loves buying you flowers! he’ll show up at your front door, whipping a slightly wilted, plastic wrapped bouquet from behind his back with his toothiest grin.
- there are often times he’s hanging out with mark and just stops in the middle of the street and is like “wait. i gotta go buy them flowers, im seeing them tonight.” and drags him into the nearest supermarket
- mark just flipping through random magazines begging him to hurry up while simon chooses the best bouquet. yeah it’s cheap but he wants the best for you! he chooses the freshest looking one every time, bringing them to you on the tube, biting the stems between his teeth as he fumbles for his card
- okay so sometimes money is tight. sometimes simon can’t really afford to blow his extra cash on store bought flowers. that’s fine! but he refuses to let you go without. he will literally drag mark to the fields to pick wildflowers for you, well, whenever he’s not shoplifting them, yelling at rents whenever he whines about it being too much trouble. he definitely steals flowers from your neighbour’s shrubs on the way to your house, showing up with a loose bouquet brimming with wildflowers, a huge smile, and a grumpy mark
- simon does not tolerate anybody treating you badly. he’ll retaliate, totally, and 100% gets an attitude, shoving and threats included, but his favourite method of solving these problems is of course: is to sic begbie on them like your guard dog
- someone spills a drink on you? your boss refuses to give you your promised pay? someone hits on you in a gross, disrespectful way? (knowing him, he probably gets mad at whoever hits on you even if it’s in the most respectful way possible) he’s all up in begbie’s ear whispering “did you see that guy? he’s totally staring at you. like, what’s his problem?” getting begbie to get super mad at them because he thinks they’re disrespecting him when it’s really all simon’s orchestration. this devolves into a fight of course, that simon watches with rapt amusement while holding his arm over your eyes to shield you from all the bloodshed
- simon is a movie stan. a buff.
- he loves bringing you to arthouse and theatres that play his favourite old movies :))
- his favourite era for film is the 60s. paul newman, alain delon, and of course, his celebrity crush: sean connery. they’re just all so suave, so cool, they’re all he wants to be!! you go to one movie with him and the next week he’s dressing like them and talking with that same quick cadence. you make fun of him for it endlessly but you’re lowkey into it
- youll sit next to him in matinees with your head on his shoulder and he can’t help but whisper little facts about the film to you every once in a while
- he probably brings a nerdy little notebook too to write details in
- mark tags along to a lot of the movie dates too i don’t make the rules
- and you and simon always bum off his popcorn which pisses him off but what’s he gonna do!
- besides going to the cinema, you two have movie nights every once in a while, watching whatever film is on tv or whatever he managed to rent that week at home together, legs kicked up on each other’s laps, eating takeaway
- he wouldn’t miss these movie nights for anything!! his friends will ask him out but he just goes “nah. cant. we’re watching goldfinger tonight.” or sometimes he’ll be out at the pub with the whole gang, and jump up suddenly, remembering he’s gotta go because taxi driver’s on at 9 and you’re waiting at home for him with food
- also because he’s a bond fanboy he takes you to every new movie!! though of course he’ll spend a good chunk of time on the bus ride home complaining about how no one can beat good ol’ connery
- also long, late night train and bus rides with him :( he always lets you fall asleep on his shoulder, and death glares at anyone who tries to sit next to you just in case it disturbs you
- he hardly wants to wake you up when you reach your stop, but watches as you rub your bleary eyes when he does. he thinks it’s cute :(
- late night walks with him, too!
- be it just simply from the train station home, or when you two can’t sleep and just need to take a late night walk. it’s just the two of you, and you spend your time just walking, the only sounds in the street being you talking

what’s the best quality theatre in the city queen? 🙏
i really don't live giving away my secrets only because then more people will know about them and i won't be able to enjoy them as easily. i'll give you a half answer, though. At AMC theaters they have a very specific auditorium called "Dolby Cinema" not to be confused with Laser (which is also better than standard but not as good as dolby). They're hard to find, but if they have one at an AMC near you, i cannot recommend it more highly, especially for movies where AUDIO is your top priority.
The main thing people compare it to is IMAX, which is far more common across america, but for me, imax is more of a gimmick. The format is more of a disneyland ride than a showcase of filmmaking and with the screen so large, you miss things in frame because you quite literally have to look all around the room. I'll go for super cheesy blockbusters i guess, or i'll go for a second time for a movie i already saw in the traditional format, like i did last year for Nope. (the largest imax in the country is also in ny and it's INSANE so that's part of my distaste for it when it comes to movies i genuinely care about because its too damn big!!!)
With Dolby Cinema, the projector is MILES ahead of the imax projectors, with the best color precision you can get, the crunchiest blacks and the brightest whites. (the only thing better is 70mm imax, but that's so rarely trotted out and i think Chris Nolan is the only dickhead out here asking for that. so most of your imax experiences are going to be standard unless they explicitly state its 70mm). Also, it's called Dolby for a reason; the whole auditorium is outfitted with this audio experience called Dolby Atmos. Other than some of the clearest speakers you can get, it's incredible for two unique reasons. 1. that it means they outfitted the theater with speakers ALL around. on the ceiling, on the back wall, etc. Typical channel audio in cinemas only feature speakers in the upper areas of the walls on left and right of the seats. This super immersive speaker layout is soooooooo much better for precise sound, which leads me to number 2. atmos allows sound that moves around the theater which means that audio tracks can be better separated for clarity. I'm sure you've been to a theater where the soundtrack was too loud and it drowned out some dialogue, or maybe vice versa. That happens a lot for theaters where the channels are mixed together and spit out of one speaker system. With atmos, different speakers adjust to where they are and the channels are NOT mixed uniformly when they output to the speakers. It makes for just truly clear and balanced audio, that also BLASTS you away when there are action scenes or gorgeous pieces of score. A lot of directors actually mix for atmos first, and then the post team downmixes it for the lesser formats like 7.1 and stuff. so Atmos is just a DREAM film going experience that directors have specifically engineered to give you the most immersive experience possible.
Ultimately, if something was shot on Imax entirely, you should check it out on imax for sure, but know the picture quality and the sound quality will be so-so compared to dolby (better than the typical theater though!). So unless it's a movie already akin to a disneyland ride like idk Dune or a Nolan movie or some cheesy blockbuster, in my humble opinion, i'm more than willing to sacrifice cropping for Dolby Cinema in exchange for the best picture and sound experience possible. ESPECIALLY things like ya know a taylor swift concert where i want the sound above all else to be spectacular.
There are 3 in manhattan and i won't tell you which one i prefer, but tbh all 3 are excellent.

Omg I just realised this panel. Omg. Kunikida is giving oldest child energy. Ranpo is the youngest and yosano is giving middle child energy hdhdhddjnd
Fukuzawa is giving single father trying his best to raise problem children, exhausted to the bone. It’s giving affluent European family in the early 20th century. This panel makes it look like their mother died some many years ago giving birth to Ranpo, and Kunikida had to step up to take care of his younger siblings while their father was constantly busy working, though he tried his best to make time for them. It looks like they were rich enough to afford several maids and nannies as well, but they wanted more of the familial bond. Kunikida would grow up to inherit his father’s empire, and run it efficiently. Ranpo would leave the country and be like an author or like some big name producer in Hollywood. Yosano would start a school and orphanage or something along those lines, and also be Kunikida’s top advisor.
Picture this: an affluent European family in the 20th century. The year is 1932. It has been over a decade since the war now. Fukuzawa was conscripted right towards the end of the war and so avoided a good chunk of it. He has one kid with his beloved wife, and he is currently two years old. They are happy, and four years later, they have another kid, this time a girl. Their lives are nothing out of the ordinary, they’re happy with what they have. Until, three years later, when their lives would turn upside down. She finds that she’s going to have a third kid, but wisps of war are showing on the horizon. And right before he has to go to war, their third kid is born. It’s bittersweet, because she died at childbirth. The kid is the most precious thing he has ever laid his eyes upon, and he does not want to leave them. Unfortunately, he was conscripted and had to go. The kids were to stay with their mother’s family till he returned, and Kunikida, the oldest, 9, did his best to obey his father when he told him to “take good care of your siblings and yourself”. Six years later, their father would return for good. The war was over, he was home now. He could barely recognise his kids, and they him. It was a bittersweet reunion, his oldest two welcoming him back, the youngest a bit indifferent; so far he had grown up without a father or mother. He only knew his siblings and his aunts. However, the cruel circumstances of fate did not seem to touch him and he was a gleeful little boy. As far as he was concerned, he just had one more person to play with.
They grew up, slowly; their father started a business and it started to flourish. Ever the obedient lad, Kunikida stuck by his father’s side, learning how to run the business he was the future heir of.
In the meanwhile yosano would teach the young Ranpo quite a number of things, and most importantly introduce him to the art of storytelling. He would read books fervently, and was a big fan of theatre. He’d go to the local theatre, watch plays, go to the cinema watch movies. He never missed a new release.
In the meanwhile, yosano would study the sciences with an ardent passion, and she would go out in search of new plants; she was a genius and would go on to excel in the fields of botany, zoology and etymology. She was as sharp as they could get.
Eventually, their father got too old to run the business, and the kids were old enough. Ranpo had left for America some time ago. And from his letters, seemed to be doing very well for himself, and had no plans of coming back anytime soon. Still, he divided his assets equally among them and left his oldest in charge of the business, and his sister was his right hand, a top executive and an advisor. She herself would oversee her younger brother’s share and on her own would build a school.
#I love this#just single father trying his best to raise problem children#this has been in my drafts for the longest time#I don’t Even know why lol#bsd#.txt

Now Watching: The Super Mario Bros. Movie!
Mario has been on a roll this year, anyone else thinking we should quit our day jobs and become plumbers? Between Universal Studios adding “Mario Land” and the movie debuting on 4/5 in theatres everywhere...don’t even get me started on the amount of games from the franchise that are selling hand over fist. Let’s talk movies!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
So, before I watched this movie-I have played the games for my whole life, my parents played the game before me. This game came out in 1985, which puts this on the radar of my parents growing up-and then on my radar in childhood. My nephew is avid gamer, who has done everything mario related. He has either played or watched youtube for gameplay footage, and even just went to Universal Studios. So, you have Mario on 3 generations. His current favorite game is Super Mario Maker 2.
This game, turned movie, can almost be too iconic to succeed. I meant what I typed, I know the phrase is “too big to fail”, but I mean what I type. One question I had before was: who was the target customer? Was it my parents who played the OG game? Was it me who played the current game with extended storylines? Or my nephew who has probably watched more people play it more than he has actually played it?
This is your spoiler alert. Here I will go into some things I loved and did not love about this movie.
There was so much movie in such a little time. While there are a lot of games in the franchise, from my knowledge of the mario universe-they covered the following game: Mario Kart, Super Mario Odssey, Luigi’s Mansion, Yoshi Island, and so many more. The movie is 1.5 hours long. Some references to the games were more subtly referenced, and others were like watching a video clip from the games.
The movie itself is well made, the actor list is not a bad mix. The story is not untrue to the base material. The mixture of real world and game world is a little odd, but kind of necessary. In game, there is no question of why you are there. In the movie they have to establish why humans are in the video game world. The movie needed to be a little bit longer to kind of establish the brothers. Yes you know the brothers, but when you are changing the story-you have to explain it.
While you are normally helping to rescue the princess, the tables are turned. I wonder if that would of been the case if we weren’t in a time of feminist trying to dominate the world. Music is all over the place, half the time it is video game classic tunes and the other half its oldies over the generation. There is even a beastie boys song in the movie!
There is a lot of movie, in too short amount of time. In my opinion, I don’t feel like Nintendo struck the “classic kid movie balance” in putting jokes for the adults but keeping the movie kid friendly. It was definitely more for the younger to youngest generation, the older generation is too busy adulting to keep up with the ever continuing story. For me, there are some things that are “classic mario” that I would of loved to see more. I did not see enough ghosts or yoshi’s. I know there is a lot of types of being in the universe and its hard to show them all in 1.5 hours, but if it was done differently-you could of slowed it down and maybe had a sequel.
While I do love this era of gaming turned cinema, not every game is successfully turned into a movie. I would say this game was middle of the road, while I have heard good things about D&D being turned into a film.
Did you know if you look up Mario games, there are 50+ games in the franchise? IMDb gives this a 7.5 out of 10, and a 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. Would I recommend this movie? It is not bad for older kids. Older people will not totally understand everything, but like anything that makes money these days-its about targeting kids and getting adults to pay for them. Have you seen this movie? What would you tell someone who hasn’t seen it? Inquiring Minds Want To Know.

I really want to do some puppet courses at Little Angel Theatre! I'd love to hear more - which ones did you go to?
ooh I mean this was a few years ago, let me see. I think I did three or four courses there. The best thing was learning from Ronnie le Drew, he taught on several of the courses. (His best known work is puppeteering Zippy in Rainbow and Sweep in the Sooty Show and various background puppets in Labyrinth.) He taught us marionettes / glove / rod (muppets) / bunraku. He was really experienced and ever so kind, with lots of fun stories and patient advice. The class worked towards a marionette showcase in the theatre to perform for friends and family. I loved my puppet and was very sad to have to give him back at the end.
I also did a course about shadow puppetry with Steve Tiplady. Not just traditional jointed shadow puppets but also textures, like you’d put a dish of oil/water/food colouring on an old overhead projector and play with the shapes and colours, that was quite abstract and painterly. Some of the sessions were also led by Paper Cinema who do breathtaking stuff with illustration and cameras and digital projectors (look them up on YouTube). Another tutor did sessions about found objects, finding the character in floating rubbish bags and old clothing (there was an exercise where you had to make your coat ‘breathe’). That taught me a lot about movement and performance (e.g. even if it doesn’t have a face, a puppet should always be focused, to show it’s thinking about something, never just staring up aimlessly into the air). I also did a course where we made rod puppets out of milliput and tyvek. There was a fun-sounding course where you could go away for a week to the country and carve a wooden marionette with master craftsman John Roberts, but that was a bit advanced/expensive for me!
Best thing is to get on their mailing list and try to book a course as soon as booking opens, as they fill up fast. Other theatres sometimes do puppetry one-off workshops and talks too; I went to a brilliant lecture at the National about how they made War Horse. So keep looking at various theatres’ adult learning programmes (like the NT, Barbican, The Globe; I believe there’s also a puppet theatre in Norwich?) in case anything interesting pops up. But I think the Little Angel is the best place in the UK for an interested beginner to learn about all kinds of puppetry. Good luck, I hope you get a chance to study some puppetry very soon!!
#puppetry#the little angel theatre in london islington#that puppetry article mentioned folkmanis#I’ve seen their puppets irl and can confirm they’re great quality#if you like muppety type puppets#although as said above you can make any old thing into a puppet :)

Hi Jess! 1, 11 & 31 for the tag game :)
ahhh hello my lovely!!! 😊😊 thank you for the ask and apologies in advance for my long, nonsensical answers
1. who is/are your comfort character(s)?
if i think about it, i think my comfort characters, from bl anyways, fit into like 2 distinct categories: there’s characters that i can feel fully relaxed around, like they aren’t too much, im not gonna be scared they’re gonna do something or act up and cause chaos, they’re just chill, nice, giving, make me feel whole. the type of people that are go to the ends of the earth with how much they care and look out for someone. so like… ayan from the eclipse, togawa from old fashion cupcake, dawon from blueming. but also there’s a category that is just my certified best boys and I get comfort from seeing them get everything they’ve ever wanted and just being happy. so like… kiyoi from utsukushii kare, heart and li ming from moonlight chicken, siwon from blueming, jihyun from the eighth sense.
11. favorite extracurricular activity?
hmm… idk i didn’t exactly do extracurricular activities as a kid. definitely not anything sport related, or like… theatre or anything like that. maybe art?? and I think I used to do science club and maths club as a kid, so i usually did stuff that was basically more learning. I mean if my school had a knitting club I would’ve been there like a shot.
31. what type of music keeps you grounded?
just anything vibe-ey. i gravitate to music for like the actual music of it, like i can’t tell you how much i don’t really care for actual lyrics most of the time, like the tone of voice and way it’s sung matters more to me than what they’re saying (but if it had to be lyric-wise, stuff that’s kind of existential or bittersweet, see next year or remember my name by two door cinema club). music-wise, my go-to’s are the so long see you tomorrow album by bombay bicycle club, the 10 stories album by kim sunggyu and i can’t tell you how much the opening song for the eighth sense, you n me us by wetter is so up my alley, just my ideal musical soundscape, low base, a slow, lazy riffing guitar, it just sounds like a walk on a beach when you look out and see how vast it is out there.
#I’m not sure how much sense these make esp the music one#I kinda just prescribe meaning to music with no rhyme or reason my brain just does it#and from then on it just serves that purpose#and I have been listening to wetter non stop so it’s hard to not think about them or the eighth sense#ask game

Can you tell me about Paris I live not far but I've always been curious, I picture coffee shops and quirky buildings and lots of books. Or maybe I watch too many movies 🤔
[NOTE: Long post!!]
Hello, Anon! <3
Hmm well I can only speak from my own experience, and my perspective will be that of a foreigner bc I did not grow up in France, and currently I'm not there (gonna try moving again maybe later in the year when I save more money), but there are a lot of cafes around central Paris (however, the famous ones are ridden with tourists and due to that are crazy expensive). There are international chains too like Starbucks or McDonalds for food, but I'd rather pay the same money on a coffee from a real cafe than on Starbucks, but that's just me lol. Imo it might be difficult to find a cheap but good cafe in central Paris because so many tourists visit them, so you have to search around a bit more if you want a good deal. Lots of boulangeries around too, and the prices are usually okay (not sure how expensive food is there now, but they were fine at some point I was there lol).
The buildings are more or less as pretty as they look in photos, but only in old Paris. A lot of boring-looking apartment buildings are around as well. Also if you're ever in an old apartment building, sometimes you have to really search for the hall/staircase light at night lol, otherwise you gotta use a torch to go up/down. But that might be normal in all of France idk, I haven't been in apartment buildings in other cities there.
Anywhere that is a tourist attraction though (of which there are many in a place like Paris) is OVERWHELMED by tourists. Like, if you lived in the area during peak holiday season (for example the Trocadéro near the Eiffel Tower), you will see a lot of visitors and may have to really weave your way through crowds if you have to get to a place quickly lol. But Trocadéro is fun in the summer if you can find a spot to chill out in the sun imo (just remember to wear sunscreen bc one time I didn't think it was THAT hot and I got a pretty strong lace-patterned sunburn through my top lmao).
There are theatres and cinemas EVERYWHERE which I ADOREEEE <3333 Nightlife culture is very good - there is almost ALWAYS somewhere to go or something to do, if you felt like it. There are underground jazz clubs, hidden bars, and at one point (not sure if they do it anymore post-covid pandemic) there used to be raves thrown in abandoned churches. Those things are certainly more fun with a friend or group of friends, imo. Lots of restaurants everywhere too, but ofc some are more expensive than others.
There are many bookshops too, and little stalls dotted along the Seine that sell old books and artworks (not sure how expensive they are, but they would probably have some nice books!). One time I was going to the theatre for a show and saw this second-hand bookshop still open and I ended up leaving with a first edition of Jean Giraudoux's Sodome et Gomorrhe.
Paris is somewhat like what is shown in the movies, but you need to give the city a reality check -- no city is perfect. Like many other cities, there are dodgy areas you'd wanna avoid sometimes, you may see people begging for money, there might be litter in some places (unfortunately), strikes make it more difficult to move around, and if you planned a visit that coincided with a big protest, then you probably won't get the picturesque and squeaky-clean experience of Paris that movies always try to show off. Also, if you're ever curious to visit and if you're not a fan of huge crowds, I *HIGHLY* recommend visiting in the winter. Less annoying swarms of tourists lol.
Paris is what you make of it tbh!
Hope this helps! <3 And if you made it this far into the post, here is some cake for you 🍰
#i'm so sorry i wrote such a fucking essay on this lmao#but i wanted to try give an honest view of the place#it's cool and great if you know what to do but ofc there are shitty things about it too yk#but imo that's the same with any city anywhere#anyway in my incredibly biased and subjective opinion paris is way more fun/interesting than new york for example#but again it depends on what you're into!#anon#anon ask#asked and answered#anyone who lives in paris is welcome to add to this if they wanna haha#the main downsides of the city are mostly ones i think could apply to many other cities too tbh#again this has only been from my experience#who knows i might be forgetting something major#long post#as in LONG-ASS POST
